Working with Diverse people

RESEARCH AND PRESENTATION -

Cross Cultural Understanding
• Cultural group is identified and described to the audience (brief historical, social, or political context is given)
• Own cultural differences and similarities to the ‘other’ culture are explained in relation to language and behaviour
• A minimum of 2 protective factors and/or needs of the individual or group are identified
• At least 2 personal challenges in working with this particular group are identified and explained to the audience
• At least 3 strategies of building trust and relationship with that particular individual or group are described
• At least 3 strategies are explained in continuous learning about cross culture

Anyone done this assesment at all.. ??

You will need to download the information booklet from the link I posted above and it's based on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

It should help you to answer your questions...
