CHCECE012 - Involving Educators & Families In Your Project

Post by kezlez » Thu Aug 20, 2015 5:07 pm

im not sure that im answering this correctly or not
Q. How would you engage and involve the other educators, families and the community in your project? (building a vegie garden)

My thoughts are by asking for contributions for timber off the community, asking for seedlings to be donated by families but other than that im a bit lost.
thanks

Yes, that's right. Also:

-parents have any gardening experience they could come and help
-ask if anyone has any soil you can use
-ask educators about the design and the placement of the vegie patch
-get a working bee going on the weekend with educators and families so you can create the vegie patch

Hope this helps,

Hi i am stuck on this question. Pls help

1. What information would you provide to the children prior starting the project ( vegie garden)

Do i hv to mention
Recycling, waste reduction, sustainability

2. List two educator practices you could use to provide the children with a sense of ownership and responsibility for the garden?
