CHCECE007 - Individual and group play opportunities

Hi!
Question: Why is it necessary that children are given opportunities for individual as well as group play?
Not sure on this one as cannot seem to find much. All I can think of so far is....Some children prefer playing on their own as playing alone develops a strong sense of being independent. Group play gives children the opportunity to socialise and take turns ect. Not sure what it means by "why is is necessary?"
Any ideas or am I on the wrong track?
