Trang is working as an assistant educator in the childcare centre observing group of children in the outdoor play area and noticed that four of the boys are running around screaming. she monitors their behaviour for any unsafe activity but besides being very noisy their behaviour is safe.
After a few minutes of doing this the by start pushing each other. Trang quickly tripes to intervene but unfortunately simon pushes isaac too hard and he falls ,tripping over the step rail surrounding the sand pit. You rush over and notice Isaac, holding his arm and huffing and puffing strangely but appears to be unhurt, the next thing trang hears is isaac screaming as he relaises there is blood on his fingers. Trang approaches issac to inspect his arm. answer the following question

1.what is the secondary action trang should take ?
ans: Trang should check the place near sand pit which could be the cause of injury, if there is anything responsible like stones or something else then that should be removed from there for avoiding any future injury. then trang should provide information to collegue to complete the incident report.

2. If isaac injury had been more severe such as broken arm or heavy laceration, what action should trang take?

ans: Trang should inform to the supervisor not going personally but by passing message by any other educator nearby and ask them to call ambulance. Trang should remain with child and not try to move thatfractured part unless support that part and keep child calm and in meantime provide first aid to child while waiting for ambulance. Then parents or guardian should contacted.

In 1st question who else need to be informed as well ?

in 2nd question state all other actions for the scenario if injury had been more severe

I think that she should call another educator to help supervise the area where she was standing so she can continue to inspect Issac for serious injury. She then should coninue first aid treatment etc.
