Hi,

I am new to this forum. Just want to know if we write an answer that is taken from some website, do we need to mention the references as well?

Yes, definitely! Any answer that you get from a website, an article or a book that isn't your own idea or thoughts you will need to reference otherwise you will be plagiarising (copying someone else's work and claiming it as your own).
