Aussie Koala

Create a simple Koala, a native marsupial in Australia. 

Materials Needed:

What to do:

Place the two circle objects on a piece of paper and trace around them. 

Tear the newspaper, add glue to the circle and collage it. 

Cut it out, add the nose and eyes using black paint.  

Using silver paper plate or grey cardboard, cut out the ears, arms, legs of the koala.

Staple the body features to the koala and you have now created your own Aussie Koala!

Hints and Tips

  • If there is no newspaper for the body, you can use cut up grey paper. 
  • Create trees to hang the koala from.
